Yeah, somehow in most countries around the world it's kind of going backwards or at least not progressing any further, which is really sad to see.
Especially since none of it makes any sense as it is now if one were to think about it just a little bit, be it money distribution, equality, etc.

Like, they made a lesbian couple kiss in a comic about one of their games and had to delete it entirely, otherwise they would've been forbidden in China and that's a huge market for videogames.
So I'm always very on the fence about it, but for very different reasons than the US media for example.

Well, the blind hating is weird and china is good in a few things like renewable energy for example, but social stuff is terrible.
Any opposition and any public display of LGBTQ is forbidden for example.
That's why often in games any LGBTQ is only implied not fully shown, like in general hoyoverse.
