Yesterday, we witnessed shameful scenes in the committee for Kim Leadbeater's assisted suicide bill. She and her core supporters have given up on even the semblance of fairness. It was a pure assertion of brute, ugly power.

The Assisted Dying Bill is a giant leap backwards in the name of bodily autonomy. Note also its main proponents - privileged baby boomers who have done their best to avoid suffering their whole lives and now are willing to sacrifice the vulnerable for their own comfort.

Eventually Christians are gonna be spotted as the people with more than one kid, kids with disabilities that can be detected in utero, and their sickly and elderly still with them.
