Just realized I never posted my update here. "Denervation atrophy". I already have a diagnosis of idiopathic snall fiber neuropathy, but that's almost always only sensory nerve endings. In my case, motor nerve endings are dying back, denervating muscle fibers, and causing THEM to die. Why? Idk.
Biopsy went well. Hope to have answers in about 10 days.
Tomorrow I am having a minor surgery to have a sample of my thigh muscle removed and sent to the Mayo clinic. Hopefully they will be able to give me an answer for why my muscles are weak and painful.

Still no progress on getting to a rheumatologist, but taking 200mg of magnesium seems to be helping? Like... my muscles are relaxing.
I try not to do "woe is me" posts, but I am so tired. My primary thinks I have either fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. She won't treat me, and can't get me in to a rheumatologist. This is on top of idiopathic, progressive, peripheral sensory neuropathy.
I am so, so tired.

I am a gun owner, begging for better controls. I don't think the suspect could legally purchase the pistol from an FFL.

Here's a weird thing: my wife thinks habanero peppers are milder than jalapenos. She can tolerate a small piece of Carolina Reaper, but a Trinidad scorpion (which I experienced as milder than the Reaper) knocked her for a loop.
Anyone else experience this? I'm thinking different capsaicinoids 1/
