If irony were a challenge coin, I’d glue it to a Tesla. I wonder how many people know just how bad SpaceX DevSecOps is? Or the gaps in Tesla charging networks? Or the level of OSINT leaked from Twitter? Maybe Preston Dunlap needs to do a victory lap -in a Rivian? This is a new meaning to ZeroTrust!

@stephenjacobsmith.com EV OEM’s in the U.S. are not lacking competition they are lacking demand and accessible infrastructures for Tier2 consumers. China has been in the bones of U.S. auto since the 80’s. The real issue is in the chips. That’s where your attention should be.

@carlquintanilla.bsky.social this is largely due to lack of infra both in supply chain & post-purchase experience. Lack of accessible realistic charging options=anxiety. Anxiety=slowed purchases. 80%+ of charging happens overnight. Yet 50%+ of EVrs w/o res charging. EV resale friction also big deal.

At what point will the WTP tagline for Ok’rs become relevant enough for a disqualification? As far as Gaetzt’s huge melon - hopefully it’ll prove that weeble wables CAN fall down.

@davidzipper.bsky.social here’s the thing….if we aren’t yet able to not freak out when our phones have less than a 50% charge - we’re absolutely not ready to overcome #rangeanxiety.
