Favorites for 2025. You're god damn right it's mostly recency bias. I want to get actual backgrounds in next year, or (at least) ones with more than one color.

Brigitte Helfried-Merhengstburg's surviving triplet brother, Otto, trying not to laugh. They both have black hair, though while Brigitte's is a desaturated blue color, Otto's is brown. Not shown because they're closed, but he has the same reddish-colored eyes, too. He's less of an outdoors-man, so he has a lighter pallor. He is lit from behind by a large orange light. It's a bit too intense in my opinion, but whatever. He is dressed in a red jerkin with gilded buttons with rows of slashes that reveal the blue doublet he wears underneath. The sleeves of which are large and slashed, displaying a gilded layer beneath.

Gwendolen ferch Llywelyn, or Gwendolen ferch Graff Caer Aderyn. Don't think I used black at all in her linework, but I could be wrong. Pretty quick background, I will not be adding any more to it (Willpower save).

Ludger, a Rigga Dachshund owned by Otto Helfried-Merhengstburg (Brigitte's brother). Like most of Otto's pets, he's named after a heroic figure from Imperial historical fiction.

Cainnech ap Gruffyd Gwledig / Cainnech ap Iarl Bryngoch WIP from June (I think) that I never finished. There was more to the background but I erased most of it at some point.
This was the only WIP I kind of liked and I've been thinking of redesigning his armor slightly.
Cainnech, son of Iarl Bryngoch, Gruffyd Gwledig ap Gruffyd, standing on a rocky cliff. Both hands are rested on his raised leg, one holding the pommel of his longsword in its scabbard resting against his thigh. He is red-haired with pale-skin and blue eyes. A simple cuirass is worn over a sleeved jerkin with a striped red pattern. Mail sleeves are worn underneath them. The skirt worn over his cuirass is green patterned in stripes of yellows and reds. His helmet, a transitional sallet, rests on some rocks behind him. It is decorated with a set of antlers and a series of feathers.

ANOTHER PALE-SKINNED REDHEAD HAS HIT THE TL.

Afon ap Glyndwr, or Afon ap Arglwydd Bangor. His father doesn't have an epithet or anything, boo. I meant to have an accompanying image of him in armor, but that'll have to wait.
