I do still have a 'soft spot' for such items though, from a nostalgic perspective, from the feeling of I guess ignorant sensationalism! That feeling that tugged on me as a child led me down quite a wormhole!

It was a 'witch ball' that I saw as a child in a museum in York that triggered my interest in all things about protective magic. I have of course read 'Building Magic' and my thinking around the subject has changed a great deal (and I am grateful to you for much of this!).
