MNDoT is not abiding by its own design standards. The result is a lack of safety for all users especially cyclists & pedestrians. This costs tax payers as infrastructure has to be redone.
We raised this issue in October & have yet to hear a response.

Cyclists say new guardrails on historic Twin Cities bridge are dangerously low
Recent construction on the Mendota Bridge lowered the guardrails to 42 inches.

MNDoT is not abiding by its own design standards. The result is a lack of safety for all users especially cyclists & pedestrians. This costs tax payers as infrastructure has to be redone.
