4. Looking into it further, I came across this post of hers on Instagram. Let's spend a moment unpacking it, as it speaks to me of everything that's wrong with dominant media themes about the countryside.

A small bunch from a much larger one of oxeye daisies picked from the edge of one of the new fields. Before the 16th century they were known as the 'moon daisy' because the brightness of their flower seemed to glow in the fields on midsummer evenings. Other country names include ‘dog daisy’, ‘horse daisy’, ‘moonpenny’ and (rather wonderfully) ‘Marguerite’. I’ve put them in one of the earthenware bottles we found amongst the rubble of our garden during our house renovation. Old Country meets Old City. I quite like that. 🌿"
