It's not, "oh the left and the right agree with 'x' and 'y'". It's the Right is taking the identity and essence of the Left, weaponizing every piece of the government, changing the social media landscape, while also hijacking the news networks.

There's also a Chekhov's Gun in F4 and Reed makes a quote relating to it, but does nothing. Then there's a rousing speech and he remembers the quote and suddenly gets the idea. Thought that was silly. That's really my only nitpick.
