Apparently there's a new YouTube player, and when you mouse over the speaker icon, the volume slider pops up... in the far right corner where you can't reach it?

Having a windows-based gamepad like the Asus Rog Ally is nice because it comes with lots of mini-games like "Why doesn't my wifi work" and "why do my updates always fail". Hours of fun!
