Sep 30 - Oct 1 - I meant for this to be the last post of the month, but I got a little behind. (Basically instead of drawing I should have been packing.) A few mixed prompts that were all a little retro.

Sep 18-I just don’t know if I’m ever going to get this right. The first pic is where I landed after a couple of days & now the sketches are where I am now Everything looks wrong & I can’t get the anatomy or the perspective right Soooo this continues to be a WIP It might be time to bust out a DTIYS!
my first try landed me with a weird looking black cat in a striped sweater whose arms and legs are just….in the wrong damn place and I can’t her body to “look right” It looks like I detached her arm and have it growing out of her chest and I can’t even describe what’s happening with her legs I Started over with new reference and am trying to figure how to inpret this into my own style into the drawing I’m looking to create. All in all, this one has been a really slow process. It’s taken me 4 days to get back to zero. lol

Sep 12 - Apparently I can’t keep track of the days anymore because I’ve been unemployed for so long.

I love the change into fall because cozy season begins and with it, blankets, curling up in a chair with hot tea, and brisk autumn nights.

Sep 9 - I actually finished this one. I don’t hate it. I like that the last few posts used the same palette (the one @morningcrocodiles provided this month). I wish I could put colors together like this but so far…palette is a work in progress for me…

Sep 1 - I can’t believe we’re in September. Today we’re celebrating (really the wrong word) more—acknowledging that this is the month of packing and by the end of the month - I’ll be out of my home of 10+ years. The best I can muster is…it’s happening. And…that’s all I’ll say about that right now.
