Great analysis, really enjoyed this. 👍

Yup. The wave needs to come down after last week
February 19, 2026 at 12:29 PM
Great analysis, I spotted the poor kicks , but missed the forward pack grouping 👍

Jiffy contradicted himself 3x during the 2nd half.

He is an armchair pundit who used to be a decent rugby player.

Watching the game it did feel like endless kicking by wales, without a kick chase game this felt designed to just not have the ball, compare the tactics in the first half to the last 20 and you kept the ball and managed to make yards. it’s a great strategy when it works it screwed wales and England
February 16, 2026 at 1:56 PM
It’s tough because the game plan isn’t working, but the players are also not executing it and some guys are out of position.
February 15, 2026 at 5:13 PM
Wales denfended so narrow and didn’t cut out the outside lines.
Their kicking was poor
I think it’s harsh that they have 6 days
Will be interesting to see what changes next week.

Your getting less than nothing from the ref.
February 15, 2026 at 4:34 PM
I agree, but will the democrats want greater checks when they are in power or will the republicans use them next time?
February 13, 2026 at 8:39 AM
Im not in favour of this. You elect an MP , if they move party that’s on them, the electoral can tell them what they think at the next election. You don’t elect a party, a party doesn’t represent you and you can’t call them to get help.

Positives from yesterday
The kick chase game was good
The skill set in rain was good
The defence held up well after the teo tries but really need to protect the blindside more.

Times out for toony if he can’t get this team to find new ways to fail
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
4 should really be time to call it for toony. Scotland have 4 games that matter before the WC Ireland home and away and France home and away. 2 wins is needed or Scotland is going home from the next WC early.
The skills are there, taking too much out from yesterday is a little bit pointless but
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
But the Scot’s with quick ball have the skills and the lines to carve up most teams. Complacency may well do for England, it has sont in the past and will do in the future.
«lastly ; if we lose to england, wales will believe then we could get the spoon. Anything less than 2 wins from the remaining
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
4: where to next.
I don’t know if we learned anything from the SCO game or the ENG game. England won’t get the space on the ball that they got v wales and Scotland won’t be playing in a monsoon. I think it will be 3-4 tries each. Both teams want to play, the English kick/compete game is very good
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
Scrums. The scrum was just as bad as the lineout, Scotland doesn’t have a bad scrum per say, so it’s difficult not to see it as the forwards just not connecting.
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
2. Skill set : got to call out the ridulous skill set when the team went 28 phases in that weather, the average team kicks possession away every 6 phases because the average is a mistake will be made.
3. Mentality : A couple of silly penalties , Turner and Millar really gave them a 6 point
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
If we presume toony has no choice but to change it up I think we will see turner starting and Hiddleston on the bench.
We also with see Cummings pack down with Gray/williamson and brown on the bench to give impact.
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
Ashman another Ed player used to a 5-7 performance, he struggled yesterday didn’t connect with his jumpers and then struggled in the scrum.
Turner is more aggressive but his silly penalty when we had advantage and could of kicked another 3 leaves questions about mentality of three players.
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
He is in for his lineout , he doesn’t get over the gain line, isn’t destructive, a mediocre scrummager and can often have brain farts. He is pro 14 class but not much more. Tony opted for him for his experiance instead of going for a player used to winning.
February 8, 2026 at 3:59 PM
There is always a team with their shit together , a team in decline, a team struggling to get their shit together a limited team and a basket case.

Will always be the case
February 8, 2026 at 10:26 AM
These are the players no one really expected to start
Gilchrist never gets over gain line , both hookers should have been behind the week 2. Turner losing his head costing us a lockable penalty
February 7, 2026 at 8:07 PM
He loves England though. 🤣

It’s like a tour game when you were drinking till 5, then jogged round the pitch , puked and then the whistle blew.
