Lemon poppyseed! Two! I used the old-school Joy of Baking recipe, second time. They have to sit overnight to soak in the glaze 😍 Whew, ok weekend goals accomplished.

Happy birthday to me! I made a cake! It’s chocolate orange, two layers, and garnished with a teensy bit of sea salt and chocolate chips. I’m beat.

Cecilia values coziness above most else. She’s 11 ish years old and 9 ish lbs., some kind of chihuahua mix. She is great at catching a falling Cheeto and gives sweet hugs.

I did it! I made bread for the first time! Focaccia topped with literally just olive oil, salt and pepper and served hot is incredible.
