Taking you on epic exploration of possibilities🚀
Our Solar System has far better destinations. 🌌 Want a more surreal adventure? Visit Titan, where methane lakes cover the surface and Saturn dominates the sky. Until then, watch the full episode here 👉 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nru_... (🧵 10/10)
What If You Spent 5 Seconds on Uranus?
YouTube video by What If
www.youtube.com
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
The reality? You would not last 5 seconds. Uranus is a world of deadly gases, diamond storms, hurricane-force winds, and crushing pressure wrapped in freezing cold. (🧵 9/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Keep sinking and the pressure skyrockets. 💥 It grows to 100 times greater than Earth’s sea level atmosphere. Eventually, you would be crushed and possibly compressed into diamonds that fall toward the core. (🧵 8/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Sounds fascinating, right? Not really. 💎 You would be battered by winds reaching 900 km/h (560 mph). That is 3.5 times stronger than a Category 5 hurricane on Earth. Survival is impossible. (🧵 7/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Deeper in, things get strange. ☁️ You would stop falling and start swimming through dense gases. The temperature rises slightly, but frozen crystals begin to pelt you. And before long, it starts to rain diamonds. (🧵 6/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Let’s say you take the plunge. 🪂 At the cloud tops, it is -224 °C (-371 °F). That is cold enough to freeze the air in your lungs. And the upper atmosphere reeks of hydrogen sulfide, the rotten egg gas that would kill you instantly if inhaled. (🧵 5/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Then you would see it in full view. 🌍 A calm blue world unlike any other. But do not be fooled. Uranus has no solid surface. It is a swirling ball of hydrogen, helium, methane, and toxic gases. (🧵 4/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
As you close in, you would need to dodge the 13 rings of Uranus. Not as magnificent as Saturn’s, but still dangerous. The outer rings are bright and easy to spot. The inner rings are dark and narrow. Threading through them would take precision. (🧵 3/10)
September 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
First, the journey. 🚀 You would spend about 10 years in a spaceship just to reach this distant ice giant on the edge of our Solar System. Pack at least 10,000 microwave meals to make it through. One-way, of course. (🧵 2/10)

What If Jupiter and Saturn Collided?
YouTube video by What If
www.youtube.com
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
The destruction of Saturn would be spectacular. Glittering rings, shattered moons, and a brilliant sky show. ✨ And despite the chaos, life on Earth would survive this cosmic clash. (🧵 9/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Could Jupiturnus become a star? 🌟 It would be more massive than Jupiter, with crushing internal pressures. But to ignite fusion it would need the mass of 75 Jupiters. So no new star, but a dazzling explosion of gas and debris lighting up the Solar System. (🧵 8/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Eventually, the two planets would merge. Their atmospheres would mix, superheating and sparking extreme chemical reactions. 🌪️🔥 The result? Saturn would be consumed, creating a new monster planet we might call Jupiturnus. (🧵 7/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Now scale that up. Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, is more than 2,000 times bigger than that comet. 😳 If it slammed into Jupiter during the battle, the impact would be catastrophic on an unimaginable level. (🧵 6/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
We have already seen a preview of Jupiter’s power. In 1994, comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 shattered under its pull. 💥 When the fragments hit, they released energy equal to 300 million atomic bombs, heating Jupiter’s atmosphere to 40,000 °C. (🧵 5/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Jupiter looks unbeatable, with three times Saturn’s mass and a faster rotation speed, but Saturn is not defenseless. With over 150 moons, including Titan, it could unleash a storm of celestial weapons once Jupiter’s gravity pulls them in. (🧵 4/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
But what if they did not keep their distance? Imagine these two gas giants suddenly locked on a collision course. 🌠 Would Saturn’s icy rings and 150+ moons make a difference, or would Jupiter’s size and speed crush everything in its path? (🧵 3/10)
September 12, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Back in December 2020, Jupiter and Saturn aligned closer than they had in nearly 400 years. ✨ This rare event is called a Great Conjunction. They looked like a single star in the night sky, but they were still millions of kilometers apart. (🧵 2/10)

By the three week mark, your most likely cause of death is a heart attack. Your body cannot keep going without rest. 💔 (🧵8/10)

At 72 hours your body breaks down muscle for fuel. Your strength and fitness disappear as your body scavenges any energy it can find. (🧵6/10)
