I consider him the 2nd most anti-Arsenal ref, behind Michael Oliver. But somehow Oliver called a reasonable game at NLD, so maybe PGMOL decided to moderate their anti-Arsenal position a bit after last season's farce.

I think they won by using the Klopp system and enjoying a remarkably healthy squad, especially leaning on a transcendent Salah.

To be fair, we can rotate a lot regardless. It will be interesting to see if we keep pushing these players hard without rest.

Worst case is starting the usual lineup and losing. I would much rather rotate players and save the 'starters' for the game that actually matters - Chelsea.

Good question. I would be pleasantly surprised if there was any reckoning whatsoever. But yeah - dropping points next season or something would be amazing.
