@msroth.bsky.social A book with a very broad perspective on the era. Starting on page 333. two pages on the first colleges (which attracted rowdy, loud, young men). The colleges were relatively independent for about a century (in the 1200s).

I have been thinking about the coalition that put trump in office and think that many people are uneducated, politically and that the D party has just as much interest in this remaining so as the R party, since both seek corporate funding.

Many people don't know that trump wants to violate the Constitution or break the law, because they have no idea what is constitution or the law say. It is scary that so many people do not know this or know someone who can tell them.
