Yup, they've been doing this collab for a few months. Wait until you see the OTHER collaboration they have going on, Skeltor with Megatron armor. The best figure in the Thundercats/MotU line for me, however, is Battle Cat-Man.

Not 100% happy with this display. I underestimated how big the buildings would be, but I do like having one next to Galactus to show him as being taller. I'm mainly not happy with the middle space where Reed, Sue, and Ben are at.

So, he's not the 32" Haslab Galactus, but I think he'll work just fine.

If you haven't seen this version of the Fantasticar, its basic structure has been around for a while, with some modifications. Except for the the one from Rise of the Silver Surfer, which was a product placement abomination that should never have seen the light of day.

It is a vehicle with four distinct sections that can break apart into smaller vehicles. An image from 2010s Era Fantastic Four comics, with a sleeker version of the Fantasticar, with a more squared off front section, but still a vehicle with four distinct compartments that can split off. Reed is in the front module, Ben in the rear middle, and Johnny and Sue on either side of Ben. The horrid product placement abomination that is the Rise of the Silver Surfer Fantasticar, a rounded off silver hovercraft with a Dodge grill, that has a front compartment, a middle compartment for two, and a rear compartment. Reed is in front, Johnny and Sue are behind him, and Ben is in the back. The version of the Fantasticar that appeared in the 1990s Fantastic Four animated series, which can still obviously break into four separate flying machines, specifically with wings on the front and two side sections. Its in red, white, and blue. Ben is in front, Reed in the middle back, Sue is to one side, and Johnny is to the other. There is a force field sphere projected under the ship holding Blastarr and Annihilus.

I am actually shocked that they (almost) fit. Especially Ben. He doesn't look comfortable, but when does Ben ever look comfortable?

Reed, Johnny, and Sue can probably still use this, but I have my doubts about Ben. He's at work awaiting the cubicle display, and I don't have anyone quite his size available to test at the moment.

Look what showed up today? Why get a Fantasticar from the first Fox Fantastic Four movie? Because it's for five inch figures, and still works pretty well with 6 inch Marvel Legends figures. This is going to be heading to the office and my cubicle display.

When we talk about expecting too much from audiences when there are too many characters or unexplained elements in a movie, it makes me think of one of the earliest comics I owned, from 1981. I was 8 years old. I had no idea who Power Man, Iron Fist, or Rom were before reading this. I loved it.

I've probably posted him before, and I've had him for a while, but Rom has become my go to "fidget" action figure. He's solid, and he doesn't look bad from any angle. I love how he manages to look exactly like a character designed in the 80s while also looking like a very modern action figure.

Every once in a while I think about this (probably unintentional) bit of social commentary from the first live-action Transformers movie, on Barricade, the Decepticon whose alt mode is a police car.

I don't know, though, Mileena always looks pretty happy.
