3 years ago today: I spent the morning at Belfast's Botanic Gardens before flying to Paris for the premiere of a documentary... about me.

TY to everyone who made that evening special - it was overwhelming, but the support did help ease the shock 🖤

12 March 2020 | Sunrise over Reykjavik, Iceland.

• Icelandair has the nicest airport lounge (and I've done a lot of travelling) - showered before having a complimentary mimosa & full breakfast, in a bed, w a real fireplace, while watching the sunrise.

• Still zero info re COVID, restrictions.

5 years ago... I was on the phone with Foreign Affairs trying to find out if I should cancel my trip. Because it was court related, I was told I had to go. So, I got on a plane to Iceland.

By the time I reached Paris, the entire world had changed.

6 yrs ago, I began my day as I did every day in Jan 2019: Lighting a candle for St Jeanne d'Arc at Notre Dame Paris.

Twelve excruciating hours later, I felt heard for the first time.

I realize now this moment didn't mark the end of the journey... In many ways, it was the start.

Honorary mention in the chef's kiss 🤌 category goes to the Toronto Sun for how quickly they removed their story on Doug Ford's daughter, Krista Haynes, GoFundMe campaign for legal fees to fight TPS.

Just received a reply to an email I sent.... in 2021.

And I thought I was bad for email response time.

Équipe : j'ai fait l'erreur de lire la réponse de l'État . . . 🤢

Team, I did something stupid: I read the French response to the ECHR.

Not the whole thing, I'm not a masochist, but enough 🤢
