There was, it was just a shorter window than it's been the last bunch of elections.

They scheduled the only two leader debates for this election on holidays (in the same weekend) when most would be too busy to tune in.

I'm curious if some people had no idea there was an election until they got a card in the mail (if they were lucky). Mine came the day before the polls opened.

Just classic crap from a government scared what impact American politics will have on their chances if they waited till the planned election date more than a year from now.

Calling a snap election with a 30 day window, doing it in the dead of winter, not sending voting cards to all eligible voters, lesser advance voting windows.

All this separate from right leaning papers calling the election before people even vote. Hiding local representatives from the public. Etc.

The previous producer team took too long to make decisions. I want an actual throwback (70s era) with a younger bond. But by the time they make a movie, their casted Bond is already 5+ years older.

So I'm cautiously optimistic is where I land, but oversaturating will not be good for the franchise.
