Prohibition on marijuana seems... Spiteful?

It seems like her definition of "better" is entirely based on "made of leather" and "can be repaired." There are a lot of things about shoes that can be worse even if they're made of leather and not glued ...

I think the more likely explanation is "moderates were starting to freak out about flight cancellations, and Schumer can't keep the caucus aligned for shit"
November 11, 2025 at 2:37 AM
This is true. The good thing is we have a primary election next year where we can pick our fighters.

Call for Schumer's retirement. The entire caucus failed us tonight

"13 months" seems like dooming. Republicans are not inhuman beings of infinite will. The narrative was against them and imo cracks were starting to show. It was not a good time for a "cave" because what's the message now? Oh Democrats were holding the govt shut and finally relented for no reason?

Also this is a pretty direct consequence of the tariffs that are new this year? Not an indication of any long-term trend

You understand what "real" means in "real median income"?

In the case of Tesla this trillion dollars literally doesn't exist. It's based on "valuation" from people trading stock at inflated values...

1) even if it's illegal, no one has standing to sue
2) even if you have standing, fixing it is a burden on the government
3) even if it's not a burden, we don't have the authority to force the government to do anything
4) even if we have the authority, we don't want to use it because we want a king

Nah, if you're asking for examples and then, when given a couple examples, immediately respond with ONLY 3 HUH? CHERRY-PICKING!! -- it's clear you weren't asking the original question in good faith
November 6, 2025 at 1:55 AM
So it wasn't actually an honest question

November 6, 2025 at 12:08 AM
"moderating on guns" can't mean "no gun control" -- that's not the moderate stance. But actual moderate reforms like licensing and registration are framed as equivalent to confiscation by pro-gun extremists

I see the main downside is they will likely be enshittification accelerants. But they're not unique in that aspect.
