I disagree. The Peter Principle states that people get promoted up to the level where they are no longer competent and rise no further.

This admin is filled with people that blasted through their level of incompetence and kept on going. And going. And going.

Please. I have $100 for the first person that tells Scott Jennings "You're full of shit, just shut the fuck up" on-air.

Of course they showed up.

I grew up there and the sense of community and helping each other is tremendous! I miss it (but the cold not so much :)

I have this version, sounds incredible! You are in the audience.

I have noticed that older Japanese recordings and masters are very well done.

I'm concerned that one day Trump might do something that a few people might consider an impeachable offense.

But all he does is use the military to invade another country, kidnap its leader, steal its oil, sell it to donors, and keep the proceeds in a foreign account that he controls.

SACD. They can be ripped despite the copy protection.

There are also sites that sell downloadable DSD (like prostudiomasters.com)

The DSD encoding method is much clearer than any PCM format.

I always purchase music, I have a music server where I store it but nothing is pirated or given away.

Just hand all the files over to a special master and give them a team to take care of the redactions too. I would trust that way more than the DOJ process.

Not allowed, planned for and encouraged.

The enshitification of listening to music. Sad.

I never could get into streaming lo rez music, and mp3 was horrible.

You can still old school listen to albums you buy and own.

I like the ability to find new music online, but I still buy what I like and listen as an activity in itself.

The checks and balances haven't been checking and balancing. That is why all this sh*t happens.

Ask the Senators why they didn’t prevent him from starting a war. It is on them that they have done nothing to check this president’s actions.

There is a divide between the philosophy of "me" and the philosophy of "we"

Some people don't gaf about anything but themselves, while others believe that society should work together for the benefit of all.

I cringe when I hear them referred to as some monolithic block, usually in a negative way. They are unique individuals with their own experiences and reasons to become a US citizen

My wife had her naturalization ceremony last year. What a moment.

Each person taking the oath stood up and said their name and where they were from.

You can't not hear 100 individuals and each story of how they arrived here, in this country that they want to participate in.

Journalism, science, education, health, trust, fairness, morality - all gone eras.
So quickly.
Painful and sad.

Like banning broccoli from the White House?

IMO proportional representation (by state) would reduce the bipolar extremes in the house by giving 3rd and 4th parties the ability to participate.

Imagine if NO party had a majority. Reps would need to work across the aisles.

Instead of winner-takes-all, everyone can participate.

"Many Great Legal Scholars Landscaping, Inc., how can I help you?"

"Do you agree that they have committed a crime of serious proportion?"

"Sure, the customer is always right."

Especially when it is the remastered version. The original issue was way too hot to sound loud, the remaster is superbly engineered so you can really hear the instruments

They wanted to teach the Republicans a lesson:

Being cruel to the American people gets Democrats to cave.

What will happen next time?

I appreciate that my wife understands that for me, listening to music can be a fully immersed activity.
