Our farmers market is asking for — and receiving — donations so shoppers who rely on SNAP can still get food at the market. Good people are everywhere.

There is happiness and humility, you just need to look for it. In my local coffee shop they’ve set up a community pantry. Take what you need, leave what you can; no questions or judgement. Just one example of kindness. Keep looking.

That’s a lot! Sometimes the balance between doing what you have to for your sanity and being in an uncomfortable space (mentally, emotionally, physically) is hard. With all the ways this administration is attacking people and democracy, it’s sometimes hard to stay joyful.

Me too! I’ve been writing postcards and contacting my 3 reps fwiw, but the comments about it being a hate rally helped me decide to go. Like you, I’m heartbroken and infuriated. I’ll be there, peaceful and joyful.

Yep. My US Rep, Chuck Edward’s, sent a similar survey with wording that was NOT neutral. I imagine most Republicans are sending these kind of surveys.
