Another 4 star read for me! My main issue with this text is that Telemachus was my least favorite character in the Odyssey so I didn’t like that this gave him a redemption arc. Circe herself is a really interesting character though.

This was a fairly fun, quick little read, but I struggled to really get into it. This is supposed to be the first of a duo, but I likely won’t bother getting the second book when it comes out. I’m just not invested enough.

I am going on a nine day round trip next week and these are the three books I am taking with me! I usually only bring one book if I am flying, but since we will have the car I am taking advantage of the space to overpack! 😅

Happy Friday! I finished Martin Chuzzelwit today! Super happy to have gotten this massive book off of my tbr (it has been there mocking me for quite some time). Some of this was quite slow, but it really picked up for the last 300 pages or so! 3.5 stars from me.
