Like sorry, perhaps not everyone wants to play 60 card piles with multiple different engines & 20 something handtraps just so they don't have to stress as much about the opponent flipping up a card that shuts off an entire game mechanic for the rest of the turn -shrug-.

& like I get it, there will always be tier lists and not every deck & strategy is competitively viable. But I'd rather viability be determined by good & interesting gameplay decisions rather than "Oh sorry, that deck doesn't have a good strategy to deal with X floodgate."

D-Barrier will always gatekeep decks that rely on a particular non-Link summoning mechanic. Protos/Eschatos does the same with mono-attribute/type decks. FTKs will always force things back towards handtrap spam decks. etc.

Just because certain floodgate or FTK strategies can be responded to with certain deck building does not mean therefore "they don't actually count" or aren't a problem. They still discourage unfun gameplay, & also narrow the range of viable decks people can play in a format!

I have a similar sort of blue-green coloring to my eyes and have sometimes forgotten my own eye color cause depending on lightning and the alignment of the stars I swear they're a little more green or blue. License says blue though so guess that's that.
