Fic: Beneath the Soul, Dream of Us Author: Whalefallogist Excerpt: Luo Binghe wondered, briefly, whether it would be more energy efficient to simply bite the affected fingertips off. Was the energy required to regrow a finger more or less than restoring frostbitten fingers to their original state? He’d seen frostbite on the streets before. Oftentimes, the affected area had to be amputated when it got bad. “...Kid, I don’t really see the need for that. I’m no healer, but surely regrowing fingers is much more inconvenient,” Menf Mo cut in. “You’re right,” Luo Binghe murmured thoughtfully, “It wouldn’t do to risk dirtying shizun’s room.”
