It was lovely to hear Lorraine Grimes speaking at the @oralhistoryie.bsky.social meeting this week on single mothers in Irl & Britain pregnancy, migration and institutionalisation . Her research has focused on gathering the oral testimonies of women who suffered in the various institutions.
