Why are we still paying taxes to this corrupt government? I would rather hang on to it (for now) and donate to causes that I find worthwhile - ones that are combatting hunger, homelessness, drug addiction, and providing medical care.

History is repeating itself, but the MAGA faithful have no idea because most of them are under- or uneducated. Agent Orange tells them what to believe, when to believe it, and how high to jump. Ignorance is bliss, but I sure as hell don’t want to be blissful.

Several years ago, on a trip through Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary), I was shocked & dismayed at the questions some people (Americans) asked. In Germany, the 3rd or 4th time we were told about the bombing that had almost completely destroyed a town which was rebuilt, 1/3
