Did I do it right? Is he going to see this thread? I don't know from BlueSky, but I sure as shit wasn't going to start tweeting at this late hour. I made it to 2025 and never twat a single thing.

Not that it's easier to make money as a comedian than a legal minutiae podcaster, but I think that for you, Peter, it will be. Good luck. I expect to see you on Netflix soon!

And sure, keep talking about law and accuracy in pulp nonfiction... But you plainly have opinions on lots of other things, and the ones I've heard are mostly lol funny. (7/8)

Ask yourself what will have more impact on humanity: Explaining nerd shit to the 1000 people who understand it, or making millions of people laugh while you *still give them the dish*, just a more palatable and profitable one. You could be your generation's George Carlin. (6/8)

Political hacks are a dime a dozen, but your inborn sense for irony and comedic timing isn't something anyone can teach at school. You have a unique ability. The world needs more clowns, Mr. Shamshiri: They're the only people who can tell the unadulterated truth. (5/8)

I assume you became a lawyer to "make a difference" as opposed to "make money" or else you'd be in corporate law. This probably explains the time you're tossing into podcasting as well. But sir, your talents are being wasted. (4/8)

Your fellow podcasters, as bright and intelligent as they are, and about whom I have nothing bad to say, consistently play second fiddle to your jokes and wisecracks. I understand they're probably great people, but they are holding you back. (3/8)

I write as an avid fan of both the 5-4 and If Books Could Kill podcasts, but also as a person concerned about your direction in life. I've heard enough to be confident that there's more in you than explaining law and citation-needed book reviews to the hoi polloi. (2/8)
