To play this game, you will need: a six-sided die (d6), something to write with, and this document PRE-SHOW: Read the following paragraphs to build out your roommates. Whenever you read something in (parenthesis), select one of the options inside. "Movie night" was (not your idea / a stupid idea / a way to get into your roommates pants) that has since become a weekly, (mandatory) chore. Every week, you get on your (futon / couch / separate chairs) and find something to watch from (your streaming service / the video store / a USB from your brother Mike). There is a (tension) in the room, as each roommate takes turns nervously selecting a movie ever week. Today, the movie was chosen by (name the first roommate and their prefered genre / name the second roommate and something that frightens them / name the third roommate and how their mom died). The movie is called (Bulldozer Revolution / Grimsby Goose / The Body Farm). Upon hearing the name, (name the first roommate and why they winced / name the second roommate and why they laughed / name the third roommate and why they popped an edible). Your TV set-up is (state of the art and janky / old but reliable / a projector and a laptop that *will* display full text message notifications). As the film begins, everyone gets as comfortable as they can... which is impossible, because (name the first roommate and which roommate they are obssessed with / name the second roommate and which roommate they *just* had sex with / name the third roommate and which roommate they broke up with last month). INTERLUDES: A game of AM4EVER consists of three rounds, encompassing the beginning, middle, and end of the movie. To begin a round of AM4EVER, roll 3d6 and write down all numbers rolled. Then, consult the list below: - On a 1 or 2, the first roommate is triggered by something – what happens to set them on edge? - On a 3 or 4, the second roommate notices something odd in the movie – what strange pattern keeps occuring? - On a 5 or 6, the third roommate is distracted by something in the apartment – what weird sensation keeps coming over them? As the third and final round concludes, determine which numbers were rolled the most. Then, consult the list below: - 1 or 2: The first roommate has a REALLY bad panic attack, traumatizing everyone involved - 3 or 4: The second roommate looks up the revolting production history of the movie, telling everyone and ruining movie night - 5 or 6: The third roommate accidentally left the oven on, causing a small fire that forces the entire building to evacuate

a game document that reads: To play you will need: dice, and something to write with. You will also need game modules - a lot of them. A game module is a collection of tables that contain information. You can roll dice to change how that information presents itself – sometimes these spaces are for stories, other times not. You are the player – surrounding you is a vast expanse of sand, cast in perpetual twilight, winds blowing harshly against your face. I have made this space for you (you are welcome). The land is peppered with buildings large and small, made of everything and anything. To pass the time (and to escape the weather), I suggest you explore. To enter these buildings, open up a game module. The building will take the shape of the thing inside – perhaps a whole planet awaits you. Perhaps a simple apartment room. In any case, you will move through this space and examine its contents. Whenever a module tells you to roll to build out its space and content, roll using the dice you have. Then, write what you see. While you are the player, these spaces were not built for you. You do not have an armor score, stress tracks, health points, or any other tomfoolery. You simply are. When the module asks you to do anything more complex than roll on a table, just ignore it. Instead, consider what it would have meant for the people it was designed for and what it means for you now. Furthermore, these places are constructed, but derelict. The land is deserted (sorry). Whenever a module asks you to conjure into being monsters, mortals, or any other living thing – just ignore it. Instead, something marking their former presence appears in their place. What was alive is now forgotten, what is dead is now dust. Only you, the player, remains. Given that you are alone, with no one to talk to but me, I suggest you use this time to figure out the buildings (I certainly haven’t). Of course, you don't have to do anything. It is simply a way to pass the time
