You'd think that, as the prospective manager of a movie theatre, I'd dream of having Denis Villeneuve or Margot Robbie in for a special event, but really I just want Cdale's own @sorenbowie.bsky.social and the rest of the After Hours crew to show up for Mystery Science Theater 3000-style commentary.

I wonder if tariffs will remind us how weirdly mundane we've made stuff that can't be grown in most of the US - like coffee, bananas, and black pepper. (My favorite example of this disconnect is 7Up Tropical, which, being mango-peach flavored, is actually less tropical than the lemon-lime original.)

My main takeaway from my latest Lord of the RIngs marathon is that Anthony Stewart Head would make a great Dumbledore. (Though I hear he's an ally so he probably wouldn't take the job.)
