Not necessarily a bad idea but blue sky is that channel for me outside of Bandcamp. I have it curated so that most posts are from artists/labels so I don’t need another channel.

Simple answer is no. Use the channels you have. If I subscribe to the label on Bandcamp then I expect communications via Bandcamp. I know a number of labels use Discord - I am out at that point as I don't need another thing to check or to overwhelm me with messages.
