Yes, and most of these things (and worse still to come) were spelled out in Project 2025 for all to see. The majority of Americans chose this, either proactively by voting for Trump or reactively by not bothering to vote against it.

There doesn’t seem to be any concern from most Americans about this, about Trump’s grotesque corruption, about the gutting of science, education, etc. Where is the outrage? Where is the America we used to admire?

Stalin and Hitler were allies in 1939, agreeing to attack Poland from east and west. Hitler turned on Russia in 1941 and Russia joined the Allies. Russians aren’t allowed to teach history of the war pre-1941. And the US didn’t enter the war until 2.4 years after it started, so tend to forget 1939.

The polls are only useful at this point to understand how people are feeling, not to predict an electoral outcome. There is no way Trump will allow free and fair elections. He will have declared martial law by 2026, or at least the need for military to oversee elections, same as Russia.
