Thursday's vigil at St Martin-in-the-Fields to remember people who'd died while homeless was the biggest turnout to date. Candles were lit on the steps, as @aej50.uk joined 13 others to read out the names of 275 of the 1611 people who’d lost their lives on the streets in 2024. 2/4

Why is #Labour run Waltham ‘deForest’ Council is #pollarding #trees out of season?

As we head into mid-summer, the council contractors are cutting all the foliage off trees in Grove Green. They are getting rid of the shade, the cooling, the cover for insects and birds. 1/2
