The objective and bruised part of me almost hopes the Mets don’t make the playoffs. But the Mets fan in me knows that they can make run a deep if they all get pointed in the same direction.

We took 2 of 3 in Detroit then we’ve got Cincy and Philly back to back starting tomorrow. It’s tough sledding till the end of the season. We still don’t have our pitching or bullpen sorted either.

Some folks are not happy unless their team is dominating others, and that’s not how it works. We finish with the Phillies today before going to Miami, which always plays us tough. 31 games left and still uncertainty

Same. So bizarrely inconsistent. Add to that they are playing with zero fire. If they don’t take the Atlanta series I can’t imagine that there’s much hope against the Phillies - though watch. Now they’ll sweep them. 😄
