I have been out checking our new history tour route on Weymouth Landtrain this morning. We mention the "Great Storm" of 1824 that destroyed most of the Georgian Esplanade - today was bad enough - I hate to think what it was like 200 yrs ago!

I was out doing a route check with the Land Train in Weymouth today - 200 yrs on, & the weather is not much better! At least the train has waterproof windows fitted!

I felt that the other Platforms were corrupted by "underneath bridge dwellers", so have discontinued using them for a long time. Hopefully, this will be a better forum
