They will abide to the federal laws. They will be at risk of lawsuits from female students and athletes. It is going to actually be more than just threatening to take away federal funding

Many families accept trans people, while many others have arguments. You don’t have to jump to the automatic conclusion that your family hates you just because they don’t agree with every single thing you say. That’s self-destructive

Yes, I am the problem. Eliminate me, I guess. This is the line of reasoning that outraged the right and made them feel legitimized (even though they are not) to erase trans people on any legal documents

I was talking about a pregnant person (which implies that there are people who can get pregnant and who aren’t women). That’s political. It’s a view of the world

I see you're discussing regret rates in the comments. I don't know much about those. I don't want to invalidate the feelings of people who don't regret the choices they made, but I have read the Cass Review. It's solid. It isn't driven by hatred

What we can do is discuss the radical ideas of gender theorists and work on a new political proposal. Eventually, citizens will understand that Trump's measures are excessive, just as the previous ones were in terms of gender identities

I think this rhetoric of 'life-threatening' is partially responsible for where we are now. It's true that transgender youth are on the wrong end of every statistic when it comes to mental distress, but the Cass Review explained it in a very compassionate way

I see the authoritarian turn of the US government, but I think many gender theorists/activists got carried away and pushed ideas with an unbelievable amount of aggression. I won't be an 'ally' without proper discussion. Many people feel the same way, and you'll need to win them back

Well, he is Secretary of State for Health and Social Care of the UK. Which, of course, doesn’t mean that he says is right. But he doesn’t just represent himself, and he does have access to medical institutions and experts
