A good chunk of modern anime have ai translated subtitles. The Dub vs Sub discourse is uninteresting, I watch shows that have both and I switch between to see how the VAs did. I don't think people who continue the discourse could point to their favorite performances, they just like to argue.

In fact I think not enough people uplift individuals when it comes to games, the director/creator or a prolific studio are usually peoples defaults. Someone had to make that skin, sound effect, music, animation, level design, etc

I understand the statement but I do not agree. "From the creators of [insert popular IP here]" or lack there of from previously known staff working on something will always place expectations. I would much rather uplift individuals who make things possible over "just play games".
