Tanana being the state soil of #Alaska is of course why I am not allowed in Alaska anymore- for it’s not the most common and they have too much pride in it. I was banned in 2005 after eating too much of it, so that brings the overall rating down to 8/10 soil rating.

However there’s many thin uh… they’re called “lenses” or something- of ice so while water intake goes up- you also are cold and crunching for days.

25 - 72 inches (Small child layer) gray to olive brown in color (I’m more a fan of greens than olives) with a permanently frozen silt loam and sandy loam. A loam of course is a very balanced soil distribution thus this layer is the best all around.
