it's when I really started to embrace heavy distortion, and also where I found my compositional style of repetition + layering melodies. there are some songs on here, like the opening track, pineapple, & stop moving and think, that I feel I still haven't topped today.

if you pay attention there are like, 6 stories happening at the same time. it's like a renaissance painting in motion

I would also probably make a video about how kirby and the forgotten land is one of the best 3d platformers ever made ... maybe I should make video essays (I won't)

I don't care if it means I go a whole year without releasing anything -- I need to get my voice out there. I need to be heard. this is non-negotiable.

I think it's ok in this instance because honestly, most of the samples are pretty on the nose. you could easily find them with a little bit of research. and most are sampling pretty huge artists anyway
