It was so wet yesterday that my one and only pair of shoes literally fell to pieces. A bit alarming! Luckily, I was able to buy more today. Beautiful seas, gardens, churches, and animals. And a young female greenfinch politely shared my lunch with me.

We went into the Cotswolds today (we live on the fringes) and never, ever will I go through Bibury on a Bank Hol Weekend again. Monstrous!! There are lots of beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. We had lunch in gorgeous Eastleach, fabulous pub. Drove past Clarkson's pub. OMG! Cake and tea at Coombe.

I'm catching up on yesterday's Arctic Tour of Norway, not for the cycling but for the absolutely stunning wonderfulness of the scenery. Easily the most beautiful race of the year. No wonder the riders are taking their time.

I've been out all day on the Ridgeway, Bishopstone way (popping in to Faringdon on way home), so just watched today's TdF! Pleasedfor Pogi's 100th win! Glad MVDP is still in yellow. Jonas looks good. Is Roglic done? Remco will win the TT. Pogi will win the Tour. What a beautiful part of France!
