Couldn't agree more! Could we call it, 'Sunday 2: Electric Boogaloo'?

I wish that we trained generative AI models to perform root cause analysis

There's a role-task mapping tool called a RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed).

A key rule is: there's only one A, but there can be many R's.
Accountability is singular, while responsibility is often distributed.

It's a great framework for individual tasks in a broader process

Did you hear that @sharonsteed.co? You've got your marching orders as our resident empathy expert.

Agreed! We really need an 'Empathy for Idiots' book with a catchy acronym as a subtitle.

I submit this acronym for consideration:

"You're Operational Understanding is Stuck in Untrained Causal Knowledge"

Working title:
'Empathy for Idiots...Because YOU SUCK'

@sarahedo.bsky.social is right - it's a beautiful thing when 0010 become 0001.

Well spoke, and I couldn't agree with you more. Humility and humanity are critical both sincerely and tactically.

Adult humans appreciate knowing what 'good' looks like in order to feel that their efforts aren't merely a series of energy-sucks without purpose, effect, or impact.

I can appreciate an opinion well supported, whether or not I agree with it.

I'd say that without a performance baseline, there is no point of reference from which to determine 'regularity.' Performance metrics when done right are more a vector than a target, though reasonable minds might disagree.

Well spoke @thecryptoking.de!

It's about as much a scam as any fiat currency. At least crypto has a community-backed pricing mechanism, not just a bunch of bankers and regulators using interest rates to manipulate markets. The Fed Reserve rugs us everyday. Just saying.

It is absolutely good that bitcoin exists. It serves as proof that a decentralized fiat currency can find price equilibrium based on true demand and not centralized interference with organic supply/demand rebalancing.

Adam Smith would cream his pants, if he was still around.

5. Cascade the metrics to the teams and put in place monitoring of the metrics.

With clearly defined metrics, smart teams will become empowered to improve their processes because the metrics are their North Star.

Give people a chance to improve organically, and watch performance skyrocket.

1. Do a truncated SIPOC focusing on PROCESSES, map at the high-level E2E, then go one level down for each process.
2. Identify the OUTPUTS and deliverables for each subprocess.
3. Expand on outputs by seeing the process through the eyes of the CUSTOMER.
4. Identify metrics that impact the processes.

Group points @sarahedo.bsky.social! I've spent my career deploying most process improvement frameworks, and I think most of them are overkill. People often lose sight of the purpose behind these efforts. The purpose is always to influence/improve how people do their job. A nice little hack is:

We’re all seeing that it’s clearly modeled after an eye right?

Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t I see it.
