A gentleman I once had the privilege to meet. His kindness was evident to me in just that brief moment.

This is personal to me. My mom contracted polio as a young teenager before a vaccine was developed against it - only subsequent surgery could restore the use of two of the fingers in her left hand which had been atrophied.

Despite this she had a multi-talented career while raising five children.

Wow. Just wow.

Gonna show this to my buds at the weekly men's stitchery group gathering I attend at a coffee shop here in Seattle every Saturday morning. (Me personally - I crochet. Doilies.)
