Vintage Medalta bean pot, from the Medalta pottery works in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Circa...early 20th century. An aunt found it in a United Church charity shop. (The United Church connection makes it extra Canadian. IYKYK.)

FELT THIS EARTHQUAKE IN VICTORIA!!!!
(It wasn't scary or bad, just rumbly, but I haven't actually felt an earthquake in a long time, and I did feel this one. That's the exciting bit. Not that there was an earthquake, but that I noticed it this time.)

M4.5 near Bellingham, WA. Whee!

He likes to be liked. He's slipping in the polls, and he's flailing about a bit trying to find messaging that will restore his shine, but without offending anyone, ever, and also without ever openly agreeing with the Conservatives for fear of legitimizing Conservative positions with swing voters.
