Allowing the oligarchs that we live under to control tiktok as one of the last bastions of speech free from their control in a way that affects EVERYONE should scare you. And the extremely fast pace it happened should also scare you. This sets such a dangerous precedent

The thing is that at the end of the day this country has been passing bills to harm minorities since. Well it’s inception as a colonial state. But to fully take away and most likely repackage a platform people use for global communication to suit a political agenda is fucking terrifying

I think the most evil part of modern fandom culture is that it’s a competition. I doubt the second season will fully capture how great the first one was ofc because it had a good ending and imo didn’t *need* a second one but there is definitely enough there to flesh the world building out. I hope it ends well. First 3 episodes were very cool

I think it’s like. Really tragic tbh how this story which is literally about anti consumerism and wealth inequality became commodified. I’ve seen people dunking on the announcement for s2 streaming like its a joke because of how that demon mister beast man fucked the brand up
