I admit that I have enjoyed messing around with AI image generation for side projects and amusement. Here's one attempt at making 2D art of a couple of custom figures I made a while back (grimdark Teddy Ruxpin @ Grubby); I've also used AI to mock up some custom ideas I plan to realize in 3D someday.

Serious question, since so much meditation instructs folks to focus on their breathing as if they don't already do that: is breathing a conscious, deliberate activity for anyone else? I mean I still breathe when I'm asleep, so it's not totally so. But mostly breathing is a thing I do on purpose.

Another thought (on which I plan to elaborate at length, but obviously this is not the place for that): if you really were enough, you wouldn't require constant validation and insistence that you are, in fact, enough. (No one is enough; that's why we need each other.)

A thing I feel like no one's getting: if Gaetz & friends are fighting this hard to prevent the release of that ethics report, THAT MEANS IT'S BAD. If I'd been similarly investigated, I'd be the fiercest advocate for that report's release because I'd know there was nothing damning in it.

But see, stuff like this Dr. Oz nomination is why it annoys me to no end that Oprah Winfrey remains so well-regarded by so many in liberal circles. She's spent so much of her career elevating cranks and bullshit and offering exceedingly little substance to accompany it, and now we have to suffer

Just took my temperature: 96.9 F. Nice, but I guess the third isn't feeling it tonight? (And I feel like the decimal point is maybe some kind of toy, but there's a 300-character limit here so I don't have the space to really satisfyingly pursue that thought.)

I'm still getting multiple fundraising emails per day from the Harris-Walz campaign. I mean, I *kinda* get it, but also -- Harris had record fundraising totals, and the campaign definitely didn't spend all of that money, and we lost. Continuing to ask for money feels hella messed up.

New rule: if you issue a parting shot at someone before blocking them, you've gotta wait until you're sure they've read it *before* you block them. Unless one's chosen firearm is a 1988 Kenner Robocop action figure, one shouldn't fire parting shots from a cap gun.

If you'd told me I'd be reading about "zombie finger" at 4am, I'd have been like... "Yeah, sounds about right." Automatic doors often don't open for me, either.
