Of course! Are you talking about the Artemis ALM-20 drone? Yeah, 1600km is a bit far for battery power. More likely some kind of hybrid propulsion. I’ll look into it!

I reached out to EOS for more info. No word back yet. I imagine the majority of the shipping container is filled with batteries with a tiny bit of room for the actual laser 😆

@amnh.org We didn’t catch her name, but the young woman employee who chatted with my son and I about ice age land bridges and geology for 15 minutes (in the Rose Center for Earth & Space) Wednesday was super friendly and deserves kudos. Thanks for a great time.

I’m reminded of the Handmaiden’s Tale where the US is taken over by far right evangelicals and the real US gov is in exile in Canada, along with millions of American refugees. Let’s hope it stays fiction for the time being 😆

For instance, being locked out of centralized cloud-based system like F-35's ODIN (ALIS) that does so many things, including mission planning w/threat intel integration.

Now, the F 35 lightning is a different matter entirely. It simply would not be able to fly without US support, so all of the NATO countries who recently bought the F 35 are at the mercy of the US.

Hi Stephan, this is a good topic for a full length essay, but to answer your question, strictly speaking there would be no killswitch, but the networked nature of US weapon systems means that when Trump ended US intelligence, it crippled a large number of UKR weapons that rely on US targeting data.
