I questioned the logic of these pardons back in January, and most people just shrugged or were unable to grasp the idea that presidential pardons could be ignored or challenged. Now, it seems that exact scenario is gaining steam.

Any #lawyer or #energy folks. Would something like this run into constitutional issues as smaller mom & pops could argue that the gov't is giving special treatment to big wealthy corporations who can afford to pay $1 billion?

It never fails every time someone is accused of a crime, companies and organizations with any connection to that person always rush to try to scrub away their connections and act like they never existed. There’s something to be said of those who hide when faced with difficult situations.

Everyone who enters the legislative chambers today is being handed one of these flyers at the door. And if you happen to sneak past the outer perimeter with empty hands, an inner perimeter of flyer distributors will engage you.

The Louisiana Senate chamber halls are literally filled with people from the film industry, and this is just for a committee hearing.
