Junior's dad sits cross-legged in front of the Christmas tree reading aloud from a storybook while his boy dozes off in his daddy's lap. The larger lion wears santa-themed pajamas, while Junior is dressed in a green footed sleeper, a plush Puddles tiger nestled in the crook of his arm. Dad reaches a hand down to cup the front of Junior's diaper through his pj's, noting that a change is in order before bedtime. His muzzle pressed against his boy's cheek, he quietly reads: "'Twas the night before Christmas, no more presents to wrap Just my sweet little baby, asleep in my lap He's dreaming of thick manes and ditching his bib But for now it's a quick change, then into his crib"

Going back through the archives here, I've still got a soft spot for this one. The first appearance of Junior's cousins, who are both taking an acute interest in the little guy's diaper change, but for Very Different Reasons 😏

Junior and his dad are joined by his auntie and uncle and two younger cousins at a park picnic table. The lion family's lunch of sandwiches (minus Junior's pureed carrots spooned from a baby food jar) is momentarily interrupted by a diaper change. Junior's aunt watches on with an inscrutable smile to rival Liondad's, but her husband seems much less entertained. His face is contorted into a grimace as he tries to enjoy his meal through the sight of his bro-law powdering his grown-ass nephew's rump before tugging a fresh diaper into place. Their son is desperately trying hide how intently he's staring (and how the display is affecting him), while his sister makes no attempt to disguise her interest. She asks her uncle if she can help tape Junior up, to which LD replies, "Of course" (over Junior's angry objection). For all his complaining, Junior is keeping still on his back, obediently holding onto his balled-up dirty diaper during the process.
