Going to be a little vulnerable for a sec. I've always loved writing, but rarely used it as a personal outlet. That's changed since my mom died. While I've always considered myself self-aware & good at processing things, I learned something last night about myself while writing this.

Came home to my first two holiday cards of the season today. They were from the President of the United States and the Vice President of the United States.

My question is, what are the rest of y’all doing?? (Jk, I haven’t sent any yet.)

Thankful to have amazing women like these two in both my professional and personal lives. I’m so glad I get to learn from them, as well as share everyday trials and tribulations.

Embracing the holiday spirit and still dreaming of big, structural change.

While my tenure was short, working for U.S. Senator Bob Casey was one of the greatest privileges of my career. He’s the epitome of a public servant and a champion for families and kids. Pennsylvania and the country are losing a treasure in the Senate.
