Excited to be attending the Triangle Economics of Education Workshop today! One of the best parts of living in North Carolina is the chance to connect with researchers across so many strong institutions. Looking forward to a day of thoughtful conversations and new ideas.

Graduation and Mother’s Day all in one weekend—hard to top that! Grateful for my wife, mom, advisor, family, and all the educators who made this possible.

Finally attend my first SREE Annual Conference and presented preliminary findings from part of my dissertation which utilizes web-scraped school district job postings to characterize the demand for educators across North Carolina public schools.

We are used to hearing about long lines on Election Day, but today, in Chapel Hill, nothing compares to the wait times at the grand opening of Raising Cane’s
